Spicerhaart, of which Felicity J. Lord is part, is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award, the highest honour that acknowledges employers demonstrating outstanding dedication to supporting military personnel and their families.

The Armed Forces Covenant honours employers who provide outstanding support to the Armed Forces community. Being awarded Gold highlights our dedication to service members, veterans, and their families.

Since joining us in 2018, David Skingley, pictured above, has been a key part of our team, drawing from his 26-year military career and 13 years in commercial and government sectors. Previously a Warrant Officer in the Royal Corps of Signals, David is now responsible for overseeing our IT Infrastructure, including data centre servers, networking, and security.

Emma Barber, Head of Training and Development and our Armed Forces Champion, whose husband served for 22 years, shared her thoughts on this honour:
“We are so proud of the commitment shown by service personnel to our nation. Signing the Armed Forces Covenant was a promise to treat them with the respect they deserve. To receive the Gold Award is one of the greatest achievements in my personal and professional life.”

CEO Antony Lark reflected on the award:
“We are delighted to receive the Gold Award, which strengthens our commitment to the Armed Forces community. It recognises our ongoing efforts to help military employees excel in their careers after leaving the service.”

Recognising the unique skills and qualities that veterans and reservists bring to civilian roles has always been a priority for Spicerhaart. This award signifies our place among employers who have shown unparalleled support for the Armed Forces community.

We are proud to offer a supportive environment to all our employees, including veterans, and we look forward to expanding our support for the Armed Forces community in the years to come.
