• I have a portfolio of properties and decided to sell one recently and talked to several agents, F J Lord were far from the cheapest however I found that commercially Jack Downes the branch manager was head and shoulders above the competition I spoke to in terms of understanding the market locally and giving good sincere advice, which prompted me to work with him in spite of the cost premium. As the process went on all the staff were helpful and unlike many estate agents the office do return calls when messages are left. Jack was very good at chasing the Solicitors involved and liaising with the purchaser and therefore keeping things moving. So its the overall result the and process control that counted rather than the agent cost taken in isolation in determining value for money. For these reasons I have no hesitation in recommending F J Lord
