What's on in Canary Wharf?

27/10/2016

We love the village of Canary Wharf!  There is always so much to do, so many different events and something for everyone!  We have grouped together some of the events going on in Canary Wharf in October which we are looking forward to the most!

Celebrate Diwali 'The Festival of Light'

This is one of the best Hindu celebrations which marks the triumph of light over dark and good over evil.  Though this event is in Canary Wharf, it is actually celebrated across the globe.  There are different celebrations being held in Cabot Square, Jubilee Place, Canada Place and the Crossrail Place Roof Garden.  Find out more details and performance times here.

The London Ballet Company presents Poppy

This looks to be a wonderful event that will mark the opening of the Remembrance Art Trail.  The London Ballet Company will perform the production, Poppy.  This event takes place on Monday 31st October at Jubilee Place.  Click here to find out more.

Supper with the shadows:  Halloween in the docks

What would our events page for October be without some Halloween events?   This one is specifically for adults only!  A perfect setting for an eerie candlelit dinner on the 31st October 2016 - complete with a talk from the ghost experts from the Society of Psychical Research.  You will then be given a guided tour through some of the most haunted parts of the building!  To find out more about the speakers, the menu choices and to book tickets, visit the Museum of London Docklands website.
