What's on in Greenwich in July 2016

There are some great events coming to Greenwich that we wanted to share with you.  There are just so many things to do, whether you live here or simply want to visit!

Greenwich and Docklands International Festival 2016

This is London's leading festival of free outdoors performing arts, theatre, dance and street arts.  Celebrating its 21st year, the festival runs from the 24th June to the 3rd July 2016.  Read more here.  

Muhammad Ali Exhibition

'I Am The Greatest' exhibition showcases the extraordinary life of Muhammad Ali. telling the story of his life both inside and outside the ring.  This exhibition at the O2 will feature unseen footage, memorabilia and over 100 artefacts.  A truly unique exhibition running from 25th June to the 31st August 2016.  Find out more.  

Greenwich Market

This historic market is surrounded by independent and unique shops.  At the weekend, there is an array of amazing food items and well as stalls for clothing, jewellery. vintage items and completely random items that you just wouldn;t expect to find. The O2

As well as a great selection of wonderful restaurant and the cinema, the O2 offers an exciting activity.  Have you ever thought of climbing the O2?  Why not give it a go?  There are four different options. climbing during the day, at sunset, in the dark or as a group.  The Twilight Expedition is just brilliant as you look over the sparkling city lights in the night sky.  However, the Sunset Expedition is simply stunning too.  Have you climbed the O2 - tweet us at @GreenwichLetFJL and tell us which Expedition is best!  Find out more of what's on at the O2.  

Emirates Airline and the Flight Simulator

Another thing that has caught the eye of people is the Emirates Airline and the aviation simulator!  This is a 30-minute session in an Airbus A380 or Boeing B777 fixed-based flight simulator.  You can pick the airport, weather conditions and times of day as you pilot the plane through a take-off and landing.  This is an exciting experience what can be shared by up to four people.  Read more, book tickers or buy gift vouchers here.
