'A WORD FROM THE OWNERS'
We’ve been living in Ridley Road for 5 years and are in love with our house and the area. The property is near many of London’s best parks, restaurants and bars so we’re never short of things to do. It is also minutes away from one of the most vibrant markets in the city, (but just far enough that it’s not on our doorstep). We live on a pretty row of terraced houses dating back to the 1800s. When we renovated the house we reinstated its period features, such as sash windows and original floorboards, whilst keeping the design simple and modern. Our favourite parts of the renovation are the walk-in terrazzo shower and big open plan living-kitchen space. It’s been the perfect home for hosting dinner parties, or lazy nights watching movies on the projector. When it’s sunny we open the floor-to-ceiling windows so it feels like you’re outside.
