Highbury and Islington tube at the northern end of Upper Street is on the Victoria line and Caledonian tube to the west is on the Piccadilly line.
One of the capital’s best antique and vintage markets is in Islington at Camden Passage. Here you can browse an eclectic array of antique furniture and vintage clothing then watch the world go by in one of the cafés.
Overground stations to the east at Dalston, Haggerston, Hoxton and Shoreditch have been something of a game changer for the eastern end of N1 connecting to the south and Docklands.
